About Us
Attorney Carl B. Arlanson established Arlanson Law Offices in 1980 and has served thousands of clients on the South Shore and surrounding areas since that time. In 2002, his daughter Attorney Cheryl Arlanson Russo left her position in Boston to join her father in the practice of law to continue the tradition and provide continuity of service. Attorney Caroline MacKenzie joined the office in 2012 to further establish the multi-generational aspect of the office.

Cheryl Russo, Esq.
Cheryl Arlanson Russo practices estate planning, probate and estate settlement, real estate and business entity formation. She is a member of the Massachusetts Bar, a graduate of Tufts University and a cum laude graduate Suffolk University Law School. Ms. Russo is also an alumna of Notre Dame Academy in Hingham, Massachusetts.
Prior to joining Arlanson Law Offices, Ms. Russo served as in-house legal counsel at Woolf Associates, a sports management and marketing agency in Boston, Massachusetts, where she advised internal staff and athlete-clients on matters relating to Contract Law, Corporate Matters, Real Estate and Estate Planning. Ms. Russo earlier served as a law clerk for Corrigan, Johnson, & Tutor, P.A., Boston, Massachusetts and spent a year working in the Massachusetts State Senate, Office of the Senate Clerk as an Assistant to the Clerk of the Senate.
An active member of the local community, Ms. Russo presently serves on the Board of Directors for the Hingham Women's Club and in the past has served on the Alumnae Board of Directors for Notre Dame Academy.
When not working with clients, Ms. Russo enjoys spending time with her family, volunteering in the community, playing tennis, and gardening.

Caroline MacKenzie, Esq.
Caroline M. MacKenzie practices estate planning and probate and estate settlement. She is a member of the Massachusetts Bar, a magna cum laude graduate of the Commonwealth Honors College at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and a graduate of Suffolk University Law School.
Originally from the South Shore, Caroline is involved in the community as a former President and advisor of the Hingham Women's Club. She values establishing relationships with individuals and families in her community, helping them through the years by planning for the future, evaluating and utilizing appropriate estate planning opportunities.
